Warrock |

I and my compadre decided to try it out and I have to say, I have never had so much fun playing a first person shooter since. There was no lag, there were no hackers, the levels were huge, lots of people played it, the list goes on and on. That is, until K2 did whatever it is they did to make all the hackers show up. Now when I play Warrock, its riddled with lag and hackers out the ying yang. The only thing I can do is turn down the graphics and hope the room I'm joining now doesn't have any glitchers or hackers in it. To top it all off, a new premium service has been implemented after the "Retail" version had come out in stores. You see, what they did here was take all the best and largest maps, taken them away from all the players, and held them hostage for a 'small fee'. Which, by the way, expires. You'll have to buy another premium purchase. None of the purchases last any longer than 30 days and once they are gone, you're largely unfair advantage is stripped and you are left with the weapons you bought and the expiration dates that come with them. Needless to say, Warrock is a huge dissappointment to the "casual player" it is so focused on targeting. It promised large-scale battles and fast paced action, but instead delivers crappy hit-ratios, lag, hackers and glitchers and unfair advantages to the "rich casual gamers". Although, when I see Warrock, I do not see dissappointment. I see potential. Potentially lost potential, but potential nonetheless. Maybe someday, a new version will come out and it won't get lost in all the dinar and finally deliver, as it once had. |
